This is a AU/VST UB Mac plugin for Mid/Side Mastering Technique.

It can be used as

Mid encoder: only the central channel (sum of L+R minus the extreme Left & extreme right).
Side encoder: the Left side signal on the left & the Right side signal on the right.

MaSt is very useful for Mastering purpose, mono-ing wide stereo materials, satisfy mono-compatibility or to add more aperture of a stereo sound file. It has not to be confused with M/S microphone technique encoder-decoder which is similar but another story.

In this 0.1 alpha version:
-you maybe have volume difference between original and processed signal, then…. use your fader.
-There are no graphical indication about faders,
buttons or pots for now (sorry!!!!).
From left to right, up to down:
-Mid vol. fader
-Side vol. fader
-mono button
-time-phase adjust button
-time-phase adjust pot
-hi pass filter (for the side signal)
-options menu
-interpolation menu (for the time-phase adjust)

How to install VST
Open the disk image and copy MaSt.vst to your VST directory. Your VST directory will usually be (user)/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/

How to install AU
Open the disk image and copy MaSt.component to your Audio Unit directory. Your Audio Unit directory will usually be (user)/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/
